Accessibility

This website was developed in May 2006 to ensure its content is available to the widest possible audience by the Office of Shared Services in Oracle Portal 10.1.2.  The design has included features for accessibility of the website and is a step closer to meeting our aims to achieve higher levels of accessibility as part of the service. We do recognise that achieving a truly accessible service is a continuing journey for all websites. We encourage feedback on ways to improve the design that ensures an effective end user experience for all.

This website is optimised and best viewed at 1024 x 768 screen resolution using Internet Explorer 5.5 and above. If this page is viewed at any other resolution, there may be some elements that will not work or appear in the wrong place. You can change your resolution in Microsoft Windows by right clicking on your desktop, selecting properties, settings tab and moving the slide bar underneath 'Screen resolution' to '1024 x 768'.  Please check that your hardware is capable of operating at this setting beforehand or problems may occur.

The Shared Services website is compatible with the following browsers:

• Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.5 and above
• Mozilla Firefox 1.0 and above
• Netscape Navigator

To change accessibility settings this can be done by selecting - Tools > Internet Options > Accessibility >

• Ignore colours specified on Web pages
• Ignore font styles specified on Web pages
• Ignore font sizes specified on Web pages

For people with sight difficulties, you may choose to increase or decrease the font size. 

This can be done by selecting - View > Text Size > Select smaller, smallest, medium, larger, largest
