Agency Training & Development Program

A Training and Development Program has been designed to support employees who are transitioning to DTF Shared Services agency change leaders and nominated agency trainers who will train and support agency employees with the introduction of corporate shared services.

DTFSS has designed a training program for agency nominated trainers that provides an overview of the Shared Services eBusiness systems and details of the new cooperative business procedures and processes. This training will allow agency trainers to return to their agency and re-engineer their current business processes inline with the shared services approach.

Agency trainers will be provided with support to deliver a comprehensive training and development program aimed at giving their staff an understanding of how the introduction of shared services will affect them and their jobs. This support includes access to generic training materials, such as PowerPoint presentations and training manual, which can be amended to suit each individual agencies requirements and internal business processes.

Larger agencies will be asked to nominate appropriately skilled trainers from within their agency. Nominated trainers from larger agencies will undergo Shared Services training within two months of roll-in.

Small agencies will be provided with the option of having trainers undergo Shared Services eBusiness systems and business process training or negotiate for that initial training service to be provided via the Shared Services Trainers within two months of the commencement of roll-in.

Update and subsequent training needs would need to be negotiated and purchased through the Business and Systems Support User Training Services.
